Summary
The book is focused on a comparison of theoretical approaches to issues of style, in the context of Czech and Anglo-Saxon (especially British) scholarly discourses. The aim was to show and compare different methodological approaches based on different theoretical bases - for this reason, two different cultural contexts were selected, attention being paid also to mutual contacts within these contexts.
