| Summary |
This is the first statistical report of the National Diabetes Register and marks the availability of the register for research purposes. It describes the characteristics of the people on the register at the end of 2000 and includes age at diagnosis, sex, State/Territory, Indigenous status and diabetes type. It also provides estimates on the incidence of diabetes among children, and on death rates for people who use insulin to treat their diabetes |
