Summary |
This midwinter 1988-1989 Puerto Rico conference is a part of the continuing effort by the National Council of Schools of Professional Psychology (NCSPP) to attain ethnic diversity in clinical psychology training programs. Within our member schools, we are striving to achieve ethnically diversified faculties, student bodies, curricula, and services that reflect the diversity of the community-at-large. /// The issue for this conference is not whether we should establish ethnic diversity, but how. Our goal is to produce specific and viable resolutions, not mere declarations. Our intention is to conclude with specific resolutions and plans for implementation that lend themselves to being evaluated in terms of whether and when we have reached them.
