The result is an incredible portrayal of families in Australia today and a raw view of the dynamics of family life.The Cardamone family consists of Dad Angelo, Mum Josephine, and their three boys David 20, Stefan 18, and Adrian 14, as well as extended family Nona Maria and Nona Franca.Episode 4: They're Not Kids AnymoreFor 20 years, Josephine and Angelo have been looking after their three boys. But now the boys have all left them alone and they face an empty nest for the first time in years. Stefan finishes Year 12 and takes off on a schoolies trip, Adrian is away on a school camp and David is busy at work and with his girlfriend.It is a new experience for Josephine and Angelo to have a quiet home, and they have to learn how to cope without the boys being their focus.
