Summary |
The Family is an eight-part observational documentary series that takes viewers on a fascinating journey into the life of one ordinary Australian family - The Cardamones. The Cardamone family were brave enough to allow 35 remote controlled cameras into their home to capture their every move, day and night, in every room of the house for a period of three months. The result is an incredible portrayal of families in Australia today and a raw view of the dynamics of family life. The Cardamone family consists of Dad Angelo, Mum Josephine, and their three boys David 20, Stefan 18, and Adrian 14, as well as extended family Nona Maria and Nona Franca.Josie is not impressed with Angelo and the boys. She is bored at work and is feeling like a slave at home. Yet her efforts around the house seem to be going unnoticed. After years of putting the family first, Josie needs to look after herself, and the men of the Cardamone house need to start pulling their weight.
