Summary |
This volume presents an embryonic theory of language, which is rapidly evolving, and being applied to problems in descriptive, contrastive, and computational linguistics. It is hoped that "junction theory" will be an effective tool for dealing with the challenges that confront the modern linguist, and provide some utility in meeting the information and communication needs of a world society |
