Summary |
The American cult writer, Philip K. Dick was responsible for some of the most iconic novels of the twentieth century, many of which were adapted by Hollywood into multi-grossing and critically acclaimed feature films (Blade Runner, Minority Report, Total Recall, A Scanner Darkly). This documentary looks behind the famous author and examines his unique vision of the future with the assistance of philosophers, scientists, biographers, writers, friends and family. Drawing on his extensive works and film adaptations, the film will show how his inventions and themes, particularly of 'programmed reality', correlate with life today, thirty years after his death |
