Summary This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Second European Conference on Ambient Intelligence, AmI 2008, held in Nuremberg, Germany, in November 2008. The 22 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from numerous submissions for inclusion in the book.
