Summary |
Non-melanoma Skin Cancer Guidelines for treatment and management in Australia provides evidence-based documentation to assist in sound decision-making. The Guidelines are guides and are neither rules nor are they prescriptive in any way. The Guidelines are produced mainly for those practitioners who are providing the majority of care to people with non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC) in Australia. The data indicate that general practitioners compromise the majority providing this care; hence the Guidelines primarily should be of benefit to them. Solar radiation is the major environmental cause of non-melanoma skin cancer |
