Summary |
This portrait of the Danish artist Olafur Eliasson (b.1967) introduces his work and aesthetic theories as it documents one of his largest exhibitions ever, Notion Motion in Rotterdam. Since the early 1990s Eliasson has built up an incredible œuvre of abstract rainbows, sunsets, waterfalls, scent walls, mist, shafts of light, and periscopes. His work navigates between natural phenomena and technology, and he aims above all to make spectators aware of their perception. Bonus feature: An Interview with Eliasson by Adrian Searle, art critic of "the Guardian" |
