| Summary |
Here, Juan Gomez "Chicuelo,"a virtuoso guitarist and figurehead of flamenco and Catalan jazz, combines his talents with those of Marco Mezquida, the young piano prodigy who brings freshness and playfulness to his elder's melancholic ballads as well as to more spirited melodies. Their sound is punctuated by the rhythms of Paco de Mode, whose discreet percussion blends marvellously with the different emotions that emanate from the pieces. It's a sonic adventure, a journey into the jazz and flamenco worlds that exist on the edge of the Mediterranean. For this concert, they present their latest album *Conexión*, which demonstrates the purity of both artists' passion and which, by combining their respective repertoires, has given rise to a musical dialect that is all their own.
