Summary |
Every day millions of Australians are involved in betting on horses during working hours. Jack, the factory worker has been punting for forty years to beat the system. The film traces his imaginative monetary involvement with a typical midweek race meeting whilst he works at his job, making suitcases, Only with the aid of the transistor radio can Jack and similar 'punters' make contact with reality, i.e. the actual horse race |
