Ju Ming is celebrated as one of today's greatest living Chinese sculptors. This is a story of a native Taiwanese sculptor who has made Chinese art visceral and accessible to people around the globe. From his debut exhibition at the Max Hutchinson Gallery in New York to the famous Yorkshire Sculpture Park and the Place Vendome in Paris, Ju Ming's sculptures have gained worldwide recognition. In 2004, Ju Ming was granted the final exhibit at the Hakone Open-Air Museum's year-long twenty-fifth anniversary celebrations, where he had the honour of exhibiting alongside the permanent collection of works by Rodin, Henry Moore and Picasso. We look into the life of a man to understand his motivations and inspirations along with those extraordinary 'crossing moments' that had influenced and made significant impact on his life |
