Summary
In 1966, Gurindji elder Vincent Lingiari led his people in a walkout off Wave Hill cattle station, which was built on traditional Gurindji land. After nine years of struggle, the Gurindji people won back their land and sparked the beginning of the Indigenous land rights movement which continues to this day. Ages 8-12
