In July 1847 the first wave of Mormon pioneers crossed the Rockies and entered the Valley of the Great Salt. Over the next 22 years as many as 80,000 had travelled across 1,300 miles of wilderness to Salt Lake City, leaving another 6000 in shallow graves along the way. To celebrate the 150th anniversary of 'pioneering, mission and religious freedom', the headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints is planning to re-enact the Wagon Train. Everyman observes the preparations and films the final trip
