Summary After a wild night of partying in a city in Nigeria, early the next morning a young female is stranded on the streets. Finally setting her sights on a commercial bus heading into town, she quickly boards the bus in an attempt to escape street evangelists and prying eyes. She soon falls asleep exhausted from the night before, only to wake up in an unknown room covered in bruises and handcuffed to chains. Kept against her will, she now has to find out why she's been kidnapped and how to escape. Based on a true story, Misfit, is Daniel Emeke Oriahi's powerful feature debut. Daniel Emeke Oriahi began his filmmaking journey after completing his economics degree in 2007. He enrolled in a Professional Dip in Motion Picture Production at the National Film Institute, Nigeria, where he majored in directing and production. Daniel's graduating short film Waiting Line was awarded Best Student Short Film at the ION International Film Festival in 2009. Daniel also picked up an Audience Choice Award at Africa Magic in 2012 for his film Birth
