Summary |
We present the most detailed and definitive analysis of ISIS cases in the United States available to the public to- day. These findings are based on publicly disclosed ISIS- related incidents, prosecutions, and investigations in the United States. Given the recent attacks at home and abroad, these patterns may change, but it is important to have the relevant facts at hand. ISIS-related cases in the U.S. involve mostly American citizens, many of whom are converts, the majority of whom are 26 or under. This report suggests that efforts to intervene with or redirect these late adolescents towards more constructive futures will require focus on individual needs and circumstances, rather than on predictive large scale socio-economic determinants |
