On 23 January 2020, just one day before the Lunar Chinese New Year Eve, Wuhan announced lockdown due to the spread of coronavirus. This city with more than 11 million residents suspended all forms of transport in or out and shut down airports as well as railways. Journalist Peng Su, whose hometown is Wuhan, went to Wuhan Hankou Railway station on that day. He looked for stories of people who were about to leave, failed to leave, and people who just arrived, and recorded the temporarily disrupted lives because of the epidemic
