This is the first English translation of the Yoginīhṛdaya, 'The Heart of the Yoginī', an important twelfth-century Sanskrit ritual and religious text of the Śrīvidyā, one of the main schools of the tantric tradition of Kashmir shaivism. With explanatory commentary, notes, a glossary, and an index, it details the teaching and ritual of the Śrīvidyā, whose main deity is the fair and benevolent goddess Tripurasundarī, the supreme Yoginī.
