Great Barrier Reef- The reef is under threat from damaging fishing practices. There is protection programme in force to develop measures for long term conservation and management of priority wetlands. Radioactive Waste Report- A report by the committee on radioactive waste management studied examples of underground disposal in Finland and Sweden. Chimps- World famous activist for animal rights, primatologist Jane Goodall visited China to press for greater respect for treatment of animals
