Summary The anthropologist spent several months working as unskilled labourer alongside Sheffield steelworkers at Morris for his PhD. This film is a look into the working lives of men who earn a living in what remains of the Sheffield Steel Industry. Endcliffe is an industrial area in the East End of Sheffield. The film follows the daily routine at the workshop as well as family and leisure activities and portraits the reactions to de-industrialization and work realities
