Description 1 online resource (32 minutes)
Summary Drought is a routine and prevailing feature of the Australian climate. From anthropogenic climate change, the frequency, intensity and duration of droughts are only projected to increase, with farming communities expected to bear the brunt of the changes. In 2018, the widespread nature and severity of drought across Australia began to be thought of as a harbinger of things to come. Dusty Gunns follows the Gunn family in their experiences of drought, looking at their affective experiences of it, and the ways in which they are adapting to and overcoming the precarious nature of their drought-affected livelihoods
