Summary |
This volume examines wastewater treatment plants in the UK and their counterparts in Germany in the wake of the International Study of the Effectiveness of Environmental Assessment (1996). Having originated in the United States National Environment Policy Act of 1969, the basic concept of EIAs has been adopted around the world and are highly diverse today. This study aims to examine, compare and suggest improvements for EIA practices as applied to wastewater treatment in the UK and Germany |
