Summary |
In 2010, 33 Chilean miners spent over two months trapped underground when the mine shaft in which they were working collapsed. Their survival and eventual rescue were due both to the leadership efforts of the mine foreman and the Chilean government's strategic rescue operation. Readers are asked to identify the different styles of leadership at work in the case and how they might apply them to a more conventional business setting |
