The case follows the success of Resto VanHarte a non-profit organisation in the Netherlands, which aims to combat loneliness through setting up restaurants for those suffering from loneliness. During the meal there is also entertainment or a lecture from a professional in the area to encourage those dining to reengage with Dutch society. The student is invited to consider the benefits of this programme and how the organisation of Resto VanHarte enables the non-profit to continue functioning
