Summary |
Halfway through his journey, and after being woken by a nearby police raid on cocaine smugglers who frequent the river, Bruce reaches the vast Mamiraua nature reserve, home to many wildlife species. There he lives among local tribe the Ribeirinho and hunts the Amazon's biggest fish, the pirarucu, which can grow to a length of 4.5 metres.
