Summary |
In this portion of the depression assessment, Cooper informs the clinician that he enjoyed playing soccer but stopped after experiencing back pain. Currently, Cooper can't do much, if any, exercise beyond walking. Outside of playing soccer, Cooper used to enjoy reading but now only watches television. He has difficulty concentrating and anhedonia in relation to those activities. He mostly stays home and plays games on his computer. He no longer has a girlfriend, speaks infrequently to his parents, and rarely sees his friends since he stopped playing soccer. Cooper isolates while engaging in online gambling, where he lost large sums of money, causing distress. Cooper wanted to be a teacher, something he thought he would enjoy, but did not pursue that career because of concerns of money |
