Summary |
Today, the diverse industrial capacity of the United States remains vital to our nation's military at a time when America faces perhaps the widest array of threats in history. In parallel, technological progress is exploding across multiple global industrial sectors, often just at the edge of the Pentagon's reach. "Future Foundry" looks more deeply into the external forces that are driving change and the vital cooperating roles played by the Pentagon and a U.S. industry on the cusp of a major pivot to adjust to rapidly emerging market and technological forces. This report seeks to establish a new strategic approach to sustain and advance U.S. military advantage, while at the same time improving the health of the business ecosystem that the Department of Defense relies on to access critical technologies |
