Summary |
The gang tests the truth behind some time-honoured sayings and conventional wisdom. Is it really "as simple as shooting fish in a barrel"? Are elephants truly scared of mice? And what is the best cure for a hot chilli tongue? Adam and Jamie take on the first by purchasing a variety of fish from the market and affixing batteries to their bodies to simulate movement. The pair also attempts to find out if elephants are in fact afraid of the much smaller (and harmless) mice. Meanwhile Tory, Kari, and Grant test the myth that milk is really the best cure for a chilli mouth? In order to do so, the trio sets about eating hot chillies then swilling milk, water, beer, alcoholic spirits, toothpaste and even wasabi paste. (From the US, in English) (Documentary Series) |
