Summary The purpose of the 'Journal of Australian Naval History' is to encourage the study, research, writing and discussion of Australian naval history. It is a showcase for researchers and authors working in the field as well as for enthusiasts and students who wish to demonstrate superior levels of investigative and writing skills in the genre. An Editorial Board, comprising eminent academics and recognised naval history authorities, as well as Society representatives, provides overall direction for the journal.
