This volume tells the exciting story of the Inn of the Good Samaritan archaeological site and of The Good Samaritan Museum erected there. The Good Samaritan site is located at the upper end of biblical Ma'aale Adummim (Josh. 15:7; 18:17), at the midway point of the ancient Jerusalem-Jericho road, in use since the dawn of history. While the relatively few Second Temple period archaeological remains found do not reflect the site's importance during that time.
