Examines successsional changes in vegetation and small mammal communities from data collected at 22 fire affected sites near Anglesea, Victoria. Thirty Swamp Antechinus were reintroduced into 3 areas where they had failed to re-establish following the Ash Wednesday fires of 1983. Radio telemetry methods have established that offspring are now present at the reintroduction site
