But some are worried about the dangers of them, too.<br /><br />ABACUS CHAMPIONSHIPS :<br />How would you quickly solve a difficult maths equation if you didn't have a calculator?<br /><br />Well not so long ago, the answer was to use an abacus.<br /><br />We went along to the National Abacus Maths Championships to find out how they work and why they're still being used today.<br /><br />DROUGHT AID:<br />This week marked the launch of Heywire - a competition that encourages rural and regional young people to tell their stories.<br /><br />To celebrate, we thought we'd take a look at one of last year's winners, Callan.<br /><br />He shared how city people helped his family through a recent drought and how much that support meant to him.<br />
