| Summary |
In 1922, D.H. Lawrence and his wife, Frieda, later joined by the painter Dorothy Brett, travelled to Taos, New Mexico at the invitation of Mabel Dodge Luhan, a wealthy patroness of the arts. Based on recollections by friends and neighbors who lived with Lawrence in Taos, but dominated by the three women who fought for his attention, the film offers an informal biography of the noted literary figure |
