1. This assessment of Jersey's compliance with the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) Insurance Core Principles (ICPs) was carried out as part of the 2008 FSAP Update. It updates and replaces the assessment conducted in 2002 (published in 2003) in the context of the Offshore Financial Center (OFC) assessment of the island. The assessor was Ian Tower of the IMF's Monetary and Capital Markets Department.
