Summary |
Dr. Narendran, director, Indian Medicine College (IMC), has been requested by the head of the college's Pharmacology Department to secure intellectual property protection for, and commercialize, a Siddha formulation that he had developed for coronary atherosclerosis. This is the first time such a request has been made at IMC, and the director has to consider how it fits into the educational and research mandate of the institution.
