Summary |
For 10 years, Edgar Feuchtwanger lived in a luxury apartment in Munich. Hitler lived across the street. Edgar was Jewish and the nephew of Lion Feuchtwanger, one of the most popular Jewish writers from the period. Edgar left Germany with his parents in 1939, two months before the invasion of Poland and the beginning of WWII. He now tells the story of his family and his country. Through the eyes of a child, we witness the rise of the Nazi movement and how this rise was experienced by a Jewish family. (From France, in French, English & German) (Documentary) (class tba) CC |
