The captions are in an Anangu language in yellow boxes at the foot of each image. In the first image the house is shown without people and in a poor state of repair, with broken windows, stray dogs, rubbish etc. The following image shows Aboriginal people coming to live in the house, which is surrounded by rubbish and dogs. As the images progress the people are shown repairing the house, clearing rubbish, building a fence, and treating the dogs treated with injections. In the last image the house appears clean and organised, and people living in it appear happy. Poster is enclosed in a white border. In 1986 the Nganampa Health Council and the Pitjantjatjara people, living on their own land in the remote area that crosses the state borders of Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory, identified, reviewed and implemented a health program in order to tackle their very serious health problems. The review was entitled 'Uwankara Palyanyku Kanyintjaku' (or A strategy for wellbeing). The review highlighted the causes of ill-health including poor housing, drainage, sewerage, water supply and nutrition
