Summary |
For the Juniors, for students aged 6-8 years, aims to stimulate children's curiosity and imagination, widen their horizons and encourage them to explore their environment, present enjoyable experiences which relate broadly to the lives and interests of the children and raise issues. Each series is arranged in groups of programs relating to a particular theme. This program takes us out of the house into the suburban backyard or garden. It looks at hazards that can exist in apparently harmless environments like the lawn, the vegetable garden and the garden shed. Raises issues of safe places to play etc.**Please note that this program/series has been created from masters kindly provided by DECS Tape Services in South Australia. These recordings have been collected over a period dating back to the early 1990s and as such, the picture quality may be of variable standard.** |
