Summary There's a new theory of basic physics that uses magnetism to produce a new form of superconductivity (the ability of a material to conduct electricity without any electrical resistance). Using American and Russian equipment, scientists generated a huge magnetic field lasting just one-millionth of a second - and then the whole thing blew apart! Getting any data at all was a real achievement. Australia took a leading part in this multinational experiment, filmed in Sydney, Tokyo and New Mexico
