Summary |
This case study addresses how to carry out research during times of change and political turmoil in Egypt. The case study is based on participant action research conducted in Egypt with the leftist Bread and Freedom Party from March to October 2015 for my doctoral research project. With the use of participant action research, this research is informed through both the researcher and collaborative work with members in the Bread and Freedom Party, highlighting experiences and expectations of youth and their imaginations to bring about change. In this case study, I discuss the methodology of participant action research as it was deployed for this research. The case study highlights the issues associated with using participant action research in a context of drastic change |
