The volume provides hxstories, theoretical and methodological inquiry, resources, and encouragement for teacher-researchers ready to engage LGBTQ+-inclusion and queer literacy pedagogy in their classrooms, schools, and communities. Selena E. Van Horn is Associate Professor of Literacy Education and Qualitative Research at California State University, Fresno, USA. She is a former elementary school teacher and continues to research with elementary school teachers and students. She consults for school districts and Educators/administrators interested in LGBTQ+ inclusion and hosts a teacher book club.
