Summary |
This play stages the lives of two women who, although continents apart, one in Zimbabwe and the other in Los Angeles, share the same life-altering event: their respective male partners have infected them with HIV. Through intersecting scenes, 'In the Continuum' depicts the particular sociocultural and gender dynamics that these women must endure as they confront the new knowledge of their infections.
