Summary |
"Tonight's documentary centres on the work of Australian journalist Michael Ware, who writes for Time Magazine and has been filming the development of insurgent in activity in Iraq since 2003. The documentary looks at how the insurgence began with the Ba'athist military administration and how the far wealthier international Islamist movement steadily took over. The insurgence remains split between nationalists and Islamists and, that split is widening. This film also shows just how dreadful life has become for ordinary Iraqis whose lives are being made worse by insurgent activities." -- SBS website |
