Summary
The study examined the costs and benefits for Australia and New Zealand of establishing a single aviation market between them. Other liberalisation options short of a single market, such as the relaxation of cabotage restrictions and the deregulation of the trans-Tasman aviation market, were also considered. The practical issues which would have to be addressed in implementing a single market policy were also examined
