Summary |
SketchUp for Civil Engineering and the Heavy Construction Industry represents a collection of topics, workflows, and examples gathered throughout my career as a structural engineer. I had two goals in my mind when I was writing this book. The main goal of this book is to introduce the concept of Information Modeling and Organization. The core idea behind this concept is to create three-dimensional drawing at the infancy stages of a construction project, and use those same drawings, through smart organization, for design, estimation, management, and construction purposes |
