| Summary |
This book provides examples, guides and discussion about the experience of doing research respectfully and inclusively. It does this by drawing on the perspectives of researchers and community practitioners and by providing a range of reflective chapters that explore what community-based research means in a range of settings and for a range of people. The book is divided into four parts. The first sets the scene for community based research. Section two "Engaging communities" focuses on strategies to engage with community partners and section three "Research as a living partnership" focuses on a discussion around how the research itself can be participatory and grounded. The fourth section is about method and methodology, the process of undertaking the research |
