Summary
Colorectal, or bowel cancer is a malignant tumour in the colon or rectum and usually occurs in middle and later life. Treatment is normally by surgical removal of the affected part of the colon or rectum. Adults with colorectal cancer face a number of issues, not least of which is overcoming a life-threatening illness. Living with bowel cancer is a difficult and emotional journey.
