Muriel Cohan, now on the dance faculty at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, reminisces about her early dance career in Philadelphia, where she studied and performed with modern dancer Meli Kaye. She recalls her work with Mary Anthony and her dance company in New York, where she performed in Anthony's Threnody and Anna Sokolow's Rooms. She talks about her performing, choreography, and teaching activities with her husband Patrick Suzeau, with whom she founded the Cohan/Suzeau Dance Company, and describes their recent visit to India |
