Summary "Thirty four years after the official end of the conflict, Nam Bang! is an exhibition that examines the consequences of the Viet Nam War from a generational and international perspective. This project is the third of a three stage project by Casula Powerhouse, preceeded by Viet Nam Voices (1997) and Viet Nam Voices: Australians and the Viet Nam War - National Tour (2001-2003). Both exhibitions represented multiple Australian perspectives, from service and non-service personnel who served in, or came from Viet Nam, to protestors and pacifists who opposed the war. Nam Bang! further investigates the complexity of Australia's involvement in the Viet Nam War with a broader focus, incorporating international perspectives, particularly from the second generation - the partners, children and family of those of affected by the conflict." -- Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre website
